Why take a temporary or contract role?
Temporary or contract work can be a great way to gain experience
in
new sectors. They also show you to be flexible and open to change,
which
is obviously key in the marketplace at the moment. There may also
be opportunities that you would consider short term. Many employers
permanently hire contract/temporary workers, so this opportunity
should always be considered as a route into an organisation and a
great platform for you to actually demonstrate your ability.
