Actively involved in the HR community
At Search, we believe strongly in being part of the human
resources community, which is why we are delighted to be sponsoring
the new Learning & Development Category at the HR Network
Awards 2011.
This annual event takes place this year on 17th November and
recognises outstanding achievements in Scottish Human
Resources. Of course representatives of Search, as well as our
clients, will be there to celebrate success at the HR social event
of the year.
Additionally we are proud to have co-founded a Learning
& Development model with HR Network. The first event
was held at the Balmoral Hotel and took the form of a roundtable
discussion attended by HR directors and heads of L&D from
financial services, FMCG, outsourcing and manufacturing
organisations. The event was such a success that Search will be
hosting more events later this year.
Our Employment Law Breakfast Seminars co-hosted with the legal
team at Brodies continue to go from strength to strength. The
event in March 2011 focused on the abolition of the retirement age
and how this will affect employers, and was attended by over
40 HR professionals.
Search Consultants were also among the 300 HR managers
and practitioners at the HR Network Conference in May, where we
contributed actively to the theme of social networking.
