Dr Ramalingam Elangovan (Elango), Senior Divisional Manager, Manchester 

Elango is an experienced scientist with over nine years' recruitment experience gained in the scientific arena. He has a strong educational background, with qualifications ranging from MSc, MPhil and a PhD in scientific disciplines. Over the years Elango has been involved in temporary contract and permanent staffing, account management, business development and branch management. During this time, he has dealt with leading companies across a variety of industry sectors including pharmaceutical, medical devices, health care, food, environmental, utilities and agrochemicals. Elango has a 100% success rate in recruiting professional individuals ranging from middle management to MD levels on various search & selection and retained projects. He is also very active in networking with a wide range of industrial sectors and communities and this has been the key for success in resourcing. With these strengths, Elango has been able to support both his clients and candidates with their recruitment needs. 

Matthew Rollinson, Senior Consultant, Manchester

Matthew has seven years' recruitment experience in the scientific sector providing temporary and permanent staff at all levels. He is a graduate of Microbiology with Biotechnology and holds an REC diploma in recruitment practice. Over the years he has supported clients from a range of backgrounds. From biotech companies through to blue chip businesses in the healthcare and scientific sectors. Matthew has worked exclusively for North West clients since 2005. An active participant in the wider North West scientific community, he strongly values a close understanding of his clients and candidates needs to deliver the right match first time. 

Bruce Swan, MSc Divisional Manager, Leeds

Bruce is an experienced Scientific Professional with over six years' scientific recruitment experience. With a Master's Degree in Analytical Chemistry, he began his science career as a temporary laboratory analyst and progressed to development team leader in a pharmaceutical company. Since then he has had a varied career spanning many areas of the scientific industry. He has worked within raw materials, QC, stability, method development and validation (methods and systems). Bruce then progressed to become a service engineer performing chromatography service, troubleshooting, training and validation where he built a team of engineers servicing the North East of England. He then moved into sales where he started a business selling ACD/Lab and Nugenesis software to R&D, CRO and manufacturing within the UK. Bruce then joined Search where he has had a successful career as a recruiter, developing business relationships and services. Bruce has a comprehensive knowledge of the North East and Yorkshire regions and has a wide network of clients and candidates.

Gavin Gallimore, Divisional Manager, Scotland

Gavin began his career working initially as a Microbiologist for Astra Zeneca before moving into quality assurance with Eli Lilly.  Following this Gavin was involved with the launch of a scientific recruitment company based in Glasgow. Since then he has built up nine years worth of experience working with specialist scientific clients throughout Scotland. Gavin has experience managing large temporary and permanent recruitment campaigns for Pharmaceutical organisations as well as providing bespoke recruitment solutions for smaller biotech companies. Gavin is REC qualified and prides himself on his commitment to quality and accuracy in the recruitment process. 

Alex Sharp, Scientific Consultant, Scotland

Alex is a graduate from the University of Strathclyde with a Masters in Forensics and Analytical Chemistry. With experience working for GlaxoSmithKline as an analytical chemist for new commissioning projects, he then made a move into the scientific recruitment industry. Alex now specialises in screening, interviewing, selecting and recruiting specialist scientists throughout the broad-based scientific community. Alex believes in providing excellent customer service ensuring all clients' needs are met whilst maintaining the highest standards.
